How to Save Money on Orlando Vacations.

Traveling to Orlando doesn’t have to break your budget. Save money on Orlando vacations by visiting the right attractions at the right times—and by finding the best Orlando hotels for your family. Here are some tips to save money on Orlando vacations:

Book seasonal rates.
Every hotel property in the Orlando area follows seasonal rates. The Walt Disney World properties have an especially structured rate scale. Pay attention to when rates drop and find out if you can book specials during week days or around certain holidays. Properties like the Nickelodeon Hotel have great seasonal packages.

Eat smart.
Plan your meals carefully. If you’re heading to theme parks, pack a lunch or plan on leaving the property to eat. If your hotel offers free hot breakfast, take advantage of it. Food costs can really drive up the price of Orlando vacations if you don’t plan to eat on a budget.

Get multi-day theme park tickets.
Every park from the Magic Kingdom to Islands of Adventure offers multi-day passes. While these are more expensive up front, they save you a bundle. Get out a calculator and figure out the best way to book the most fun for your family. Be aware that many deals must be purchased online and cannot be purchased at the gate.
