Book well in advance. 5 & 10: This well-received restaurant near the University of Georgia features a popular prix fixe menu for just $24. Despite the caliber of the food, the atmosphere isn’t too stuffy. Don't miss the "snackies" like marinated white anchovies with grapefruit. Where to stay: Atlanta hotels range from quaint bed and breakfast inns to luxurious name brand hotels. For a central location and plenty of comfort, try the Westin Altanta Airport.
