How to Find Last Minute Travel Deals

How to Find Last Minute Travel Deals

If you’re adventurous and a little flexible, you can save big on a vacation by booking at the last minute. While most vacationers get deals by booking in advance, others scour the web for last minute travel deals. Here’s how you can do the same:

Be persistent. Last minute vacation packages can change from one day to a next. Search often and don’t give up if you don’t find what you’re looking for on the first day. Check morning and night.

Be flexible. Don’t expect to always find a great deal for a Friday and Saturday night stay. Vacation deals often occur on weeknights. When it comes to flights, you may also find that you need to be flexible about times.

Be adventurous. Instead of setting your sights on one particular destination, be willing to embrace several different destinations. Don’t forget to have your passport ready — you may find an incredible last minute travel deal for a Caribbean resort.

Be savvy. Don’t expect last minute travel deals to jump out and bite you. Do some investigating. Search for different regions, different types of lodgings, and different dates. Try local destinations you can hit on a staycation, or take a quick flight to a tropical beach or mountain retreat.
